About Us

Here at Connection Church Sturgis, we believe that Christ has called us to come to Him as we are. Any and all are welcome in our family. We are a church made up of messed up people with a heart to bring messed up people to a perfect Savior. Our Sunday morning worship is casual and a blend of contemporary worship music and traditional hymns. Our passion is to see the lost come to know Christ through the teaching of His word and living everyday life with one another. We believe the Holy Bible is the authority that Christ has given us to guide and govern both the church and our individual lives. As the church we have been sent to share the gospel of the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as our one and only source of life and relation with a perfect holy God to all the world beginning with our own neighborhood. We would love to have you worship with us and live life together as we pursue Christ our Savior.

As a Southern Baptist Church we work closely with both the Dakota Baptist Convention and the North American Mission Board to bring Christ to the Dakotas and North America. We believe that the church has been called to bring the love, grace and salvation of Christ to the world both through individual bodies of believers as well as churches partnering together. We support the Southern  Baptist convention through cooperative giving programs and joining together as one in prayer and missions. Here you will find a link to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, the statement of faith that we as a body align with as a unified convention of Southern Baptist:http:

Renee and I were married in January of 2016 and moved to the Black Hills the following May. We have one daughter named Cassidy and two dogs named Dixie and Diesel. We are adventure-lovers who enjoy the outdoors, and are very passionate about spending time with our friends and family. Our heart is to see Christ work in the city of Sturgis and broken hearts be restored. We believe the best way for this to happen is for every believer's home to become the church in their neighborhood.
